The Rotten Land

( 2019 — 40 minutes )

Something is rotten in the Northeastern of Thailand.

The documentary follows the mundane life of a rural farmer whose leg was amputated due to the use of Paraquat,

in contrast to a protest to ban a deadly pesticide that took place in the heart of Bangkok,

and the National Committee on Hazardous Substances’ refusal to ban it.
